Training for My Own Ph.D. Olympics
Yeah, yeah. Another whining from this lazy grad student. :)
Well, what I learn today is that to be a good (a.k.a. productive) Ph.D. student, you need to keep your body in good shape.
I've been keeping extra fit lately as my Philosophy exam & Qualitative Research exam is coming near (this Sat! ARGHHHHH!!!!).
I've increased my daily jogging regimen to 1 hour and when my body is aching so much like today, I'll switch to swimming instead. Or may be just brisk-walking. I really feel like sweating out.
The trouble with swimming is that I'm not good at freestyle. And with breaststroke,I tend to get thicker over the shoulder blade and "wing" (forgot what that muscle is called in Latin.) Not that I mind, but I wanna be lean and mean now than bulking up like when I was doing weight training. If you know what I mean.
Anyway, time to hit the track. I'm a bit late tonight. So many things to do. So little time. So help me, Blog! hee hee hee
