I learned this lesson a hard way.
I think time is a person's most valuable resource. Ph.D. studies is so demanding on your time. It reminds me of the story of a guy selling his soul to the devil or soemthing in exchange of what he wants.
The devil gets back.
Forget career, family or even love life if you want to be a Ph.D. student. A good one, that is.
It's an all-or-nothing game. The choice is yours.
