Long Live the King! Happy Diamond Jubilee!

It it such a joyous time to be a Thai! Our King, one of the most beloved in the Kingdom's history, is celebrating his Diamond Jubilee on a throne this month! He is the longest living monarch in the world now. But the length of his reign is not the reason why we Thais love him so much. It is his unconditional love and dedication in working to improve the life of all of us in the country since the day he took the throne.

To all of us, he is the hardest working person in the Kingdom. We grew up seeing him working everyday in the remotest area of the country while we watch the evening news from the comfort of our home. For my generation, we also had the rare chance of receiving our college degree right from his hand! We would not forget the most memorable moment of our life. I mean, not many people in this world could say that they received their degree from their King, right?
